1 Minute Timer
Need a 1 minute timer? This one starts the moment the page opens and counts down 60 seconds, second by second. Short and simple: a 1 minute timer suits steeping tea, a plank, a quick stretch or giving a game round a hard stop.

1 Minute Timer questions
How do I start the 1 minute timer?
It starts by itself as soon as the page opens. Use Restart to begin again from the full 1 minute, or Pause to stop the clock.
Does the timer keep running in another tab?
Yes. It measures time against your clock rather than counting ticks, so it stays accurate even when your browser slows background tabs. The sound may play a little late in a hidden tab, so keep the page visible if timing matters.
What happens when the timer reaches zero?
The display stops at 00:00:00, the boxes are highlighted and a message says time is up. If you switched Sound on, a short tone plays too.
Can I set a different length?
Yes. Use Set a timer below to pick any number of hours and minutes, up to 23 hours 59 minutes.
