How Long How Many Days ("we," "us") runs the countdown website at https://howlonghowmanydays.com. This policy explains what information is involved when you use it.
The short version
- Countdowns are calculated in your browser from your device's clock and time zone. That information is not sent to us.
- There are no accounts, sign-ups or forms that collect personal details.
- We save two small preferences on your device: your theme choice and your cookie choice.
Information stored on your device
We use your browser's local storage for:
- theme: whether you picked light or dark mode.
- consent: whether you chose "Essential only" or "Accept all" in the cookie banner.
These values stay on your device. You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Server and security logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for more information.
Analytics and advertising
We do not currently run analytics or advertising scripts. If we add them to keep the site free, they will only load after you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner, and we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy to name the providers involved. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you and keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell or share it.
Children
The site is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we hold very little, most requests can be handled by clearing your browser's site data. For anything else, contact contact@howlonghowmanydays.com.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
