How do I set a custom timer?
Choose the hours and minutes in Set a timer and press Start timer. The timer starts straight away, and the address of the page keeps your length so you can bookmark or share it.
Does the timer keep running in another tab?
Yes. It measures time against your clock rather than counting ticks, so it stays accurate even when your browser slows background tabs. The sound may play a little late in a hidden tab, so keep the page visible if timing matters.
What happens when the timer reaches zero?
The display stops at 00:00:00, the boxes are highlighted and a message says time is up. If you switched Sound on, a short tone plays too.
Can I set a different length?
